Rachel Stewart Martin is a Mobile, Alabama native and has resided in Birmingham since 2010. Rachel graduated summa cum laude from the University of South Alabama, where she earned her degree in English Literature and Political Science. Rachel then attended Cumberland School of Law, where she received her Juris Doctor degree. While in law school, Rachel served on the Executive Board of the Cumberland Law Review and was the only member of her law school class to have two writings selected for publication in the Review. Rachel was a member of Cumberland’s nationally-ranked Trial Team, representing Cumberland as an advocate in both regional and invitation-only trial competitions, as well as member of the Executive Trial Board. For her outstanding work in trial advocacy, Rachel was awarded the Alabama Chapter of the American Association for Justice Serve and Protect the Public Award and was inducted into the National Order of Barristers. Rachel was also awarded the Alabama State Bar Family Law Section Scholarship for her superior performance in the subjects of domestic and juvenile law.

Rachel resides in Vestavia Hills with her husband, Roy.
