Nicole Saia – Partner

Nicole Saia grew up in Virginia and moved to Birmingham in 1998 to attend law school. Nicole is a graduate of Virginia Tech, in Blacksburg, VA where she earned her undergraduate degree. She went on to earn her Juris Doctorate from Cumberland School of Law, Samford University in 2001. While a law student, Nicole was a member of Cumberland’s nationally recognized Negotiation Team and the winner of Cumberland’s Negotiation Competition.  Nicole was also on the Dean’s List. 

Nicole’s experiences in the legal system are diverse.  Since she started practicing law she had always worked in a litigation firm.  Throughout her legal career, Nicole has  represented clients in over 875 cases in various Alabama and Federal Court Systems including Federal Court, Circuit Civil, Circuit Criminal, District Civil, District Criminal, Juvenile and Municipal Courts of Alabama.  

Professionally, Nicole is a member of the Alabama State Bar and the Shelby County Bar Association. Nicole is a certified Guardian Ad Litem and a trained mediator registered with the State of Alabama. In 2018,  Nicole ran for Circuit Judge in Shelby County, Alabama. 

In addition to her work, Nicole proudly serves as a member of the Board of Directors at Hilltop Montessori School. 

Nicole resides in Shelby County with her husband and son.
